Review: Infinityglass (Hourglass #3) by Myra McEntire

*sorry about not posting yesterday! Blogger hates me :( *
Infinityglass (Hourglass, #3)

The stakes have risen even higher in this third book in the Hourglass series.
The Hourglass is a secret organization focused on the study of manipulating time, and its members — many of them teenagers -have uncanny abilities to make time work for them in mysterious ways. Inherent in these powers is a responsibility to take great care, because altering one small moment can have devastating consequences for the past, present, and future. But some time travelers are not exactly honorable, and sometimes unsavory deals must be struck to maintain order.
With the Infinityglass (central to understanding and harnessing the time gene) at large, the hunt is on to find it before someone else does.
But the Hourglass has an advantage. Lily, who has the ability to locate anything lost, has determined that the Infinityglass isn't an object. It's a person. And the Hourglass must find him or her first. But where do you start searching for the very key to time when every second could be the last?
I need all the amazingly positive adjectives of the world so I can describe my love for Infinityglass. Like no joke, this book is the best one out of the whole trilogy! You have all your main characters plus Dune <3 and Hallie, the girl with the attitude and the urge for adventure. I was lucky enough to receive and ARC from the publisher, so I got to read Infinityglass right after finishing Timepeice which worked really well when you are going through a series...everything is fresh! :D

In the final book of the trilogy, the Hourglass is on their way to New Orleans, home of mardi gras, parties, and Hallie aka the supposed Infinityglass. Dune, who was a minor character in the previous book now takes the stage as he leads the mission in New Orleans; obviously along the way he falls in love like he has never has before. But the Hourglass is about to gain knowledge on some dirty secrets which they had no account of...thus losing their upperhand. The final installment of the Hourglass trilogy comes to a fast paced and entertaining end with Inifinityglass.

I have loved this series from the start; McEntire has a way with words that just sucks you in. Like many people say this is seriously one of the greatest sci-fi/romance/epicness you will ever read. Completely original from anything I have ever read, I am mesmerized by the new take on altering the time space continuum. It's kind of a given on which side would win, but how McEntire went about telling the story seriously was unexpected!

Alongside the fast paced plot you get to meet some very new characters. Hallie is your general bad ass heroine, but DUNE he is so different compared to guys in YA! He is sweet, responsible, sorta shy, and he is Samoan. You usually don't see guys in YA like that, and I'll be honest I liked it! He wasn't the bad ass he was the sweet not low key nerd who knew how to stand his ground...gotta say it was awesome :D I also love McEntire's alternating viewpoint chapters, it makes reading so much more fun and realistic. I like to embrace both characters and with her style you can do so.

I'm not kidding when I say this, but PICK UP THE HOURGLASS TRILOGY; YOU WILL NOT REGRET THIS!! This is one series that get's better as it progresses, and the ending actually makes you content and happy! It is probably one of my favorite series till date <3
