Books I've Read but Haven't Reviewed (1)

Hey guys!

I'm sorry I'm not reviewing as much! Junior year is at it's worst, and I am just stressed! I have an author visit that I am planning (20 YA Authors are coming to my school!) and I am completely behind on the blog. I have been reading, but not reviewing. So today I finally realized I won't be able to catch up. But I was on Vy's Blog  and got a great idea from her! I'm doing it a bit different by adding a mini review for each. So here it goes!

The Strange Case of Finley Jayne (Steampunk Chronicles, #0.5)

The Strange Case of Finley Jane by Kady Cross

Publisher: Harlequin Teen
Published: May 1st 2011
I adored this novella! Back stories in general add so much to the series itself, and this novella did just that. You go more depth on Finley, and her 'interesting' life. In general I love Finley's character, but the novella did a good job on focusing on her, and removing all the romance and what not.
Overall: 4.5/5
Cicada

Cicada by Belle Whittington
Publisher: Create Space
Published: September 13th 2011

First of all I want to thank Belle Whittington for donating 15 copies to my school book club! Cicada was a very different story from anything I have read before. Blair was a great MC and this book definitely had me hooked!
Overall: 4/5
Nightshade (Nightshade, #1)

Nightshade by Andrea Cremer

Publisher: Philomel
Published: Ocotber 19th 2010

I LOVE REN! I had to get that out there. Nightshade was fantastic and such a fast read! Nothing like what I imagined, and I am extremely glad I gave it the time of day! Nothing like your stereotypical werewolf book. The book has so many twists, and for the first time I DID NOT like the MC's guy counterpart! Calla was also a great female lead. She was tough and smart, though she made the stupidest choice ever! (In my OP ;D)
Overall: 5/5

Wolfsbane (Nightshade, #2)

Wolfsbane by Andrea Cremer
Publisher: Philomel
Published: July 26th 2011

I STILL love Ren! The second installment in the Nightshade Trilogy was intense. After all the craziness at the end of Nightshade Wolfsbane was just even more mind-boggling! I loved all the unexpected twists, and the new characters were fun. I would say more but it might spoil the book if you haven't read it yet!
Overall: 5/5
